So there's probably no one in the western world who hasn't seen this, but this is what I think of anytime I read "bear"

I was watching the news one morning, and they were giving advice on how to handle bears. It seriously said on the screen:

I like bears.

Maybe its because I live so far from bears that I like them.
I don't live far from sharks though. When can we make a shark thread?

I remember a couple times as a kid having to be called inside because a bear had been spotted. Silly bears...ruining our outdoor fun.

I like bears. As long as you respect them and keep out of their way.. they'll usually keep out of yours.

There's been one around here lately, stocking up for winter I suspects

Haha....when I first read your post, I thought you said "shakers." I thought, "What's so scary about Shakers?" Then I remembered a video we saw in sociology class a few years ago....
