I'm Oscar Wilde, James Joyce, Dylan and Bono rolled into one.

Although the Bono part of me is under house arrest and due to be cremated.

Well as much as I love the man and no matter how sexy he looked during the Achtung days he hasn’t inspired me (my writing) in anyway recently but then again “UF” “JT” and “AB” hit me all the time.

So I’ll keep those albums and cremate the man.

well I doubt James Joyce has written anything to inspire you in the last decade either.

I see your point though, Bono needs to get his lyrical talent back :tsk:

Joyce resides in my pantry with Yeats and they would often have dalliances with my mother much to my father’s chagrin.

:sexywink:

I think that U2 should employ me as a ghost-writer so that they can release a highly literate album full of sonic experimentation.

I think I need to go on a U2 break! I watched Popmart and Vertigo yesterday and Rattle & Hum today. I feel a bit overloaded. :slant:

^(VG) aww.. poor Ali. :(

Nah, he just needs to stop thinking about what kind of music will sell and start going where his creative instincts truly take him.

True but even then we can't be sure that he'll have a drastic shift in form.

How well the lyrics are written lacks the subjectivity we attach to what makes music sound good.
