Though perhaps that should be amended to "absolutely nobody but tryhard Asians". Seriously, I was in the Baillieu over swotvac as I needed to get something for RHSV purposes, and in that section on the third floor near the entrance to the Giblin Library, it was PACKED with people studying. Not a free desk in sight. Almost all of them were Asian. I instantly thought of you and your rants about your fellow Asians.

Yeah, that definitely played a part in it. Although, were you around back when the Commonwealth Games were on? That seriously screwed things over - the holidays were I think 2 or three weeks earlier than normal, so the school term was ridiculously long and the uni term would've been something like 1 week // break // 11 weeks.

That would've been ridiculous. I was still in Queensland then. If I remember correctly, UQ's midsemester break was pretty close to indeed being midsemester.

No kidding. When I got home from class last night I threw open my windows (yes, I was that dramatic about it). It was soooooooooooo nice sleeping with the windows open.

Didn't arrive here until the morning. We had some good thunderstorms last night after midnight.

I've been telling my cousin's parents that he may as well have stayed in Malaysia; he's not interacted with any Aussies, goes to Trinity with a bunch of Malaysians and speaks to them in Malay. And when he's at home, all he does is sit in front of his laptop, literally 24/7 bar meals.

But yeah, like I said, why bother coming here if you're gonna waste it playing CounterStrike and hanging with Malaysians the whole time? He even refuses to go with my sister and I to church or just to socialise with friends; the one time we brought him along he just stood there. :rollseyes:

no direct flights to bosnia from the us. only from europe, istanbul...

i'm going frankfurt-ljubljana-sarajevo. the last 2 flights are about 1 hour each with about 1.5 hour in between. all told only about 12.5 hours travel time if it goes according to schedule.
