I don't think I like The Hands That Built America. :|

*digs through U2 tracks she never listens to*

It's funny, I feel like I should hate THTBA, but I don't. I mean, it's not a great song by any means, and I probably haven't played it in a bloody long time, but ... I guess for me it's simply there. It doesn't move me either way.

Pornography > Faith.

QFWRONG.

Not a single track on Faith is a dud. Pornography's got Siamese Twins and the title track.

Though Pornography does also have One Hundred Years, The Hanging Garden, and COLD!

Fair enough.

and WTF is that weird-arsed noise at the end of Electrical Storm on the Best-of? Sounds like something that belongs in Bottoms. :giggle:

*ahem*

You know what? These Survivor polls are just fucking depressing. I give up.

:sigh:

Eh...

I used to be a fan of a series of books written by a certain semi-senile old female author... she (allegedly) has this crackpot theory that being sodomised by an inanimate object can make an otherwise straight man gay. She claims as evidence that she knows a man who was straight, got raped with a tent peg, and then became effeminate and gay. Something to do with pheromones or some rubbish.

WTF. :| :coocoo:

I actually have no idea what sound you're talking about! But I take it you mean the William Orbit mix, and I suspect I have not listened to that in roughly four years.

:sigh:

I'm surprised at how hard Pop has been to vote on, as it's not an album I really rate, but these last four songs are fantastic and I struggle to choose between them. Even UF was easier. But then again, I play UF much more, so I've really gotten to know each track, while Pop I only play every now and then.

 Riiiight. I wonder if she believes the reverse is true. Because if raping gay men with an animate object would turn them straight, I think those Christian fundamentalist "gay rescue" missions would be very interested!

Damnit, I hate that the excitement of the cricket and of Australia losing is now over and I'm coming back down to real life and realising how miserable I still am. :|

Well, maybe the animation of the objects wasn't really the point...

*listens to Pop out of revenge on the silly poll*

Why does Ticketek only give you two options for ticket collecting, and add extra charges for each?! Just stick another $5 on the price and add $2 for registered post... *RE*

Hey unico!

Some of the emotion in her songs certainly suits how I feel today. I enjoyed it. The other stuff Vazza suggested was good too. The Tracy Chapman songs surprised me - I knew and liked them, but had never known who they were by!

And if you need more Ani, there are torrents with her whole discography ...
