Bands you've gotten into or rediscovered while waiting for the next U2 album

Every song on that Maiden album is superb

Every of their 80's album is a classic, I have a little preference for Powerslave.

The 90's albums were weaker, but I really like the last 3.

Well, my biggest musical crush since the last U2 album is undoubtedly Muse; in fact I haven't been obsessed with any band in this intense nerdy way since U2 (and before that, Queen).

Some of the others are:

- Joy Division
- Sonic Youth
- M.I.A.
- Mark Lanegan
- Feist
- Regina Spektor
- Rage Against the Machine

Probably some others, but I haven't got the best brain for dates and can't remember whether I got into them before or after HTDAAB.
