well, plenty upon plenty of smaller 1 or 2 album (so far) bands.

edit: I started counting and got to about 15 (I'm sure others will get to many, many more) before giving up, even on the criteria of a minimum of 3 released albums.

I'm a little obsessive when I find someone I like, so I usually try and find everything I can by them.

The majority of my collection consists of full discographies.

Beck and U2 are definitely on the list. Ted Leo and the Pharmacists are only 50%-ish, so not yet.

I don't know why my list isn't larger -- I suppose it's because I rarely get into one artist enough to peruse their entire catalog.

U2
Radiohead
Talking Heads
The Velvet Underground
Wilco
Beck
The Beatles
At the Drive-In
Outkast
Weezer (I'm so, so, so sorry to admit this...)

...and then bands/artists with far, far fewer songs to find...

The New Pornographers
The Fiery Furnaces
Big Star
The Streets
Kanye West
Secret Machines
William Basinski
Gorillaz
Xiu Xiu
Dizzee Rascal
Interpol
The Ass Volta AND shitty Sparta (ATD-I dies hard, I guess...ugh...)
The Strokes
Jolie Holland

That's a start, at any rate. As far as the "minor" bands go, there's just TONS of shit, I guess. I didn't list anybody with fewer than two albums, though...that would just be indecent.

My list is kind of small as well.

U2
Radiohead
Echo & The Bunnymen

I don't want to count artists that have fewer than three albums. If I did, that list would be quite longer. I also don't want to count Coldplay...because it's Coldplay.

Black Sabbath (even the late 80's and early 90's albums )

I'm almost there with John Lennon and David Bowie! I wish I could say the same about The Beatles and Lou Reed though.
