Bands for which you've heard all ( 95% atleast) of its officially released songs

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2.
If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
well, plenty upon plenty of smaller 1 or 2 album (so far) bands.

edit: I started counting and got to about 15 (I'm sure others will get to many, many more) before giving up, even on the criteria of a minimum of 3 released albums.

I'm a little obsessive when I find someone I like, so I usually try and find everything I can by them.

The majority of my collection consists of full discographies.

Beck and U2 are definitely on the list. Ted Leo and the Pharmacists are only 50%-ish, so not yet.

I don't know why my list isn't larger -- I suppose it's because I rarely get into one artist enough to peruse their entire catalog.

U2
Radiohead
Talking Heads
The Velvet Underground
Wilco
Beck
The Beatles
At the Drive-In
Outkast
Weezer (I'm so, so, so sorry to admit this...)

...and then bands/artists with far, far fewer songs to find...

The New Pornographers
The Fiery Furnaces
Big Star
The Streets
Kanye West
Secret Machines
William Basinski
Gorillaz
Xiu Xiu
Dizzee Rascal
Interpol
The Ass Volta AND shitty Sparta (ATD-I dies hard, I guess...ugh...)
The Strokes
Jolie Holland

That's a start, at any rate. As far as the "minor" bands go, there's just TONS of shit, I guess. I didn't list anybody with fewer than two albums, though...that would just be indecent.

U2
Pearl Jam
The Who
The Doors
Van Halen
Bruce Springsteen (& E Street Band)
Live
Motley Crue
Nirvana
Led Zeppelin

There's probably a couple more.

My list is kind of small as well.

U2
Radiohead
Echo & The Bunnymen

I don't want to count artists that have fewer than three albums. If I did, that list would be quite longer. I also don't want to count Coldplay...because it's Coldplay.

U2
Radiohead
Coldplay
Kings Of Convenience
Annie
Jeff Buckley
Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Tegan and Sara (in the past I was a big fan, not so much these days though)

U2
Metallica
The Rolling Stones
Bruce Springsteen
AC/DC
Black Sabbath (even the late 80's and early 90's albums :crack: )
Audioslave
The Sex Pistols
The Stooges
Ozzy Osbourne

I'm almost there with John Lennon and David Bowie! I wish I could say the same about The Beatles and Lou Reed though. :(

U2
Bjork
Cursive
Interpol
Godspeed You! Black Emperor
Explosions in the Sky
Kings of Convenience
Coldplay :reject:
Xiu Xiu
Iron and Wine (well, I don't have an EP... I dunno then)

Beatles
Radiohead
Pink Floyd
U2
Keane
Coldplay
Smashing Pumpkins
Led Zeppelin
Manu Chao
Sigur Ros
Creedence Clearwater Revival
Queen
Guns N´Roses
Rush
John Lennon
George Harrison
Travis
Inti Illimani
Los Jaivas

Peace

Crowded House
Radiohead
Split Enz
Shihad
Neil Finn
Tim Finn
Peter Gabriel
Foo Fighters
Finn Brothers
U2
Coldplay
Pink Floyd
Midnight Oil
Bic Runga
The Beatles
Rage Against The Machine

:sigh:

the beatles
u2
the clash
springsteen
dropkick murphys
rancid
ramallah
blood for blood
the ducky boys
dirty water
sinners & saints
far from finished
squared off
sharky doyles
the bruisers
bad religion

and a bunch more. i got tired of listing.

U2
Manic Street Preachers
Radiohead
Muse
Oasis
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Stereophonics
Blur
Coldplay
Travis
Nirvana

Now that I think of it U2 and The Stone Roses are probably the only two bands where I have heard 95%+ of their officially released songs. I'm not really a completist I tend to buy a lot of 'best ofs'.

Interesting thread...

In alphabetical order cause that's how iTunes has them :)

The Beatles
Bjork
Cat Stevens
Clannad
Coldplay
Donovan
The Doors
Elvis Presley
Embrace
Enya
Franz Ferdinand
Garbage
Janis Joplin :)heart: my hero)
Jet
Morcheeba
Oasis
Patti Smith
Robbie Williams ( :reject: )
Sinead O'Connor (another hero...)
Snow Patrol
The Streets
U2
The Verve

 same here.

starting off on the new/minor bands that only have one or two albums so it's pretty easy to have heard everything:
- the bravery
- the dolphin brothers
- fiona apple
- franz ferdinand
- i am the world trade center
- interpol
- joy division
- scissor sisters
- stimulator
- vhs or beta
- wham!

and more established artists with more albums:
- the cranberries
- crowded house
- david sylvian
- depeche mode
- duran duran (including all their side groups and solo efforts)
- inxs
- japan
- led zeppelin
- new order
- no doubt
- the police
- roxy music
- split enz
- sting
- sugar ray :reject: (i don't like them anymore though)
- talking heads
- tears for fears
- U2

U2
R.E.M.
The Cure
The Replacements (This is sort of pathetic because I've heard almost all of their UNofficially released stuff, but there's still one official album I haven't heard.)
