Ballads/Weepy/Sad/Chillin' Songs

I'm feeling particularly sappy and sad right now. I need some tunes.

I'm exhasting my Coldplay. And Thirty-Three (SP). And Song for a Winter's Night (Sarah McLachlan).

I'd write more, but I'm also at a loss for words. THERE's a first!

Sad and chilling? Yes...

Get Tom McRae's self-titled album and Mojave 3's Excuses for Travellers.

there's a new pearl jam tune called "thumbing my way" that really gets me....it's about reflections on your life and has lyrics like:

"all the wasted signs we ignore throughout our lives; choosing the shiny ones instead"

"I can't be free with what's locked inside of me; if there was a key you took it with you"

"there's no more wrong or right but I'm sure there's good and bad"

"no matter how cold the winter, there's a springtime ahead"

I think it's the most mature song they've ever written.

good to ponder your life to.
