That's the one. Under Australian Skies was really just the War Tour in disguise with Pride, UF, and occasionally Wire and ASOH slotted into a fairly typical War set, but it's clearly part of the UF era and I count it as the UF Tour's first leg on U2gigs.

"Who buys U2 records anyway? It's just music for plumbers and bricklayers. Bono, what a slob. You'd think with all that climbing about he does, he'd look real fit and that. But he's real fat, y'know. Reminds me of a soddin' mountain goat."
"And as for Bono, he needs a colostomy bag for his mouth."

Too bad they're too lame to do something like that now.

that's what i thought. i view it as kind of a pre-uf tour, since they debuted a few songs from the album on there. i wouldn't consider it war-era, especially not with his mullet that's a uf mullet, not a war one

The War mullet wasn't too bad. It got really bad during the UF tour when he started shaving the sides and stuff

Especially if they want to reinvent themselves.
Yeah, I'm kind of disappointed they keep returning to their past producers. It just feels too safe. I can see why they do it; they're comfortable with Lanois and Eno. But I wish they'd challenge themselves a bit more. And challenge themselves to make an album in a short timeframe rather than just dawdle along for a few years ...
