If you're talking music-wise, I wholeheartedly agree.

You dont like So I married an Axe Murderer?

I quite like it.

On another note, I quite like that Matthew Good Band song Apparitions (that's Canadian) New Pornographers kick butt too, dirty Canadians

So I married an Axe Murderer was Ok, but in contrast to Wayne's World and Mike's other movies it just wasn't as good. I liked it... I'm obligated to like Mike Myers, it is my sole duty as a Canadian.

Sounds like a Mike Myer's thread is starting...

I loveth the bagpipes. But I must admit that the Irish Uillean (sp?) pipes are much more melodic and easy on the ears (aka, Braveheart soundtrack, etc.) than the Scottish war pipes. Still, they have their own charm.

oh and Axe Murderer is a feckin' hilarious movie!!!! "We have a piper doooon, I repeat..a piper is doooon!"

There's some of those Irish pipes on October, although I don't remember which song.

Who's up for fiddles?

The only tin whistle player I know is, creepily enough, Andrea Corr.

lol.

I would add some Celtic folk compilations to my to-buy list, but it's big enough already.

Actually I think the Uilleann Pipes are a much more beautiful instrument. They're much less harsh and loud than bagpipes and can complement other music much better

Get out of my house IWasBored
