I just posted a journal entry about this, however:

Has anyone else seen it yet? If not..........................

GO SEE IT!!!!!!
This movie is bloody brilliant and so is director Pedro Almodovar. I'm still processing it, and I think I need to see it again to get the full effect.

Holy shit wow.

That is an incredibly fascinating movie, it was engrossing from the first shot all the way to the very end, and it was by far Almodovar's finest film to date (did you ever see Women On The Verge of a Nervous Breakdown? That was pretty good, compared to some of his other stuff, but not as good).

The acting in here was perfect, and so was the writing; It was just fantastic. Bernal I thought was particularly touching, and the guy who played the Priest made him out to be a complex character.

Its a smart, challenging film - absolutely fantastic.
