My phone rang earlier, and when I answered, all I could hear was loud music. Assuming it was a prank call, I called the person a sassy name and hung up.

Turns out it was a friend of mine...calling me from the Austin City Limits Festival...so that I could hear Wilco! Dammit.

Concert music never seems to transfer well through a cell phone

When I saw Ryan Adams back in December, I called a bunch of people from the Ryan board, and one gal (the one whose call I missed tonight) could hear "So Alive" really well. Another girl I called assumed it was a prank and hung up. Other people told me that they actually heard some pretty decent snippets.
