they are doing this for the good of cricket and sport in general in that it ensues that for someone to beat or at least compete with them, they have to play at their level

you want a team to never let you down, this team will play at that level which will not give the opponent a look in

any sign of weakness on behalf of the opposition will be exploited

just remember how they dismantled the south african test team last summer when they aspired to take over them?

not only did they win, they blew south africa out of the water to the point they ended up questioning its administrators and having to force players to quit
