Auf der Maur

Yes, former Hole and Smashing Pumpkins bassplayer Melissa Auf der Maur formed her own band called Auf der Maur. And there's also a new album with the same name!

A beautifull voice over a solid rock basis (according to one review). I checked it out and this really is amazing, some Smashing Pumpkins influences here and there, but less maniacal!

She released an excellent album of Black Sabbath covers the last year, but under the name of Iron Man... one of best female bass players... maybe the best
