I could have bought Tim Tams in your honour... but I'm not going to deliver them to you.

I have posted them all over the world, though.

You could have very easily delivered Tim Tams or other delicious choccies to me.

Well, there is talk of a reunion. And there was a Transatlantic-esque reunion (Trey, Mike and Jon) a few weeks ago.

Yeah, and there's also talk about a Pink Floyd reunion, but you don't see that hurrying to happen.

I'm sitting here trying to figure out what the fuck to do for two essays I have due on the 15th and 22nd. I really have absolutely no idea. The topic choices are terrible and I don't want to know about either essay. I'm feeling faintly nauseous about it all.

Damn. Somebody should talk them into doing Please with a Backstreet's Back snippet! "Please, please, get up off your knees/'Cause Backstreet's back, ALRIGHT!"

No, I think I like Please how it is....

I honestly don't recall what happened during AOH at Melbourne I!
After the song finished, Bono gave the girl a piggy-back ride to the main stage, and he was all "Edge, Adam, look what I brought you" ... (Larry gets nothing, I guess) ... and he rambled on for a while about if she'd mind if they all went to her place to stay, and if her mum was cool with that, and did she know that Edge puts his feet on the table and he's actually an advanced carbon life form, etc etc...

As I understand it, the band initially weren't intending on doing Streets on Vertigo. Not sure who talked them into doing it.
I have great difficulty believing they ever seriously considered NOT doing it....

:edge: You know what? Let's not do Streets this tour.
:adam: Yeah, I'm sure people are sick of it by now.
:bono: Exactly. It's not as if we don't have twelve other mega smash hits that everyone will expect to hear.
:larry: Okay, it's decided; no Streets for this whole tour.

:larry: :adam: :edge: :bono: ......... :lmao: :lmao: Yeah right!!

What if I pay postage?
You might as well buy your own, in that case...

You could have very easily delivered Tim Tams or other delicious choccies to me.
Especially since I'm now too full of pasta to want any. *urgh*

But that still would have involved me getting into my car and driving somewhere... you could have gone to the shops yourself by the time I got there.

Oooh, that's right. I was much too far to really be able to see a terrible lot that night. And surrounded by people who got more excited for a Rock The Casbah snippet than The Fly. :|

I'm not kidding, though! They originally didn't intend to include Streets in the Vertigo set. Similarly, before Popmart, Bono did not want to include Pride but the rest of the band and McGuinne$$ talked him into it. Shame about that, since Pride hit the lowest of its many hundreds of live low points that tour. Bono for once was right.

But that would have required me going out. I'm happy to wait if the choccies are going to be brought to me.

Have I just been given a Google Ad that tops gayCHUBBYdating?

1. You agree with Bono!?
2. And how do we know these things? Were they stated in interviews, or is it just hearsay and word of mouth?

But that would have required me going out. I'm happy to wait if the choccies are going to be brought to me.
And here we see the dilemma of an immovable object not wanting to meet another immovable object...

1. I know.
2. Pretty sure the Pride thing came from an interview. As for Streets, not to put words in his mouth, but I'm pretty sure that was stated by Blue Room here. He has, uh, connections and isn't wrong about this stuff.

.... what the? What's BBW?

It stands for Big Beautiful Women and was meant to be some size-positive affirmatory thingamajig, but it seems to have largely become associated with obesity sexual fetishes and porn.

Clearly I don't know them well at all, and I think I'm happy to stay that way!
