i just heard a loud bang, i looked out my window.

A few years ago, my mother and I were taking a walk, and we were just getting ready to cross this side street, and were waiting for the cars to go, when this girl came down the main road really fast, as this other guy was about to pull onto it from the side street we were trying to cross. She hit the front end of his car as she went by, and she was going so fast that she didn't even manage to stop her car until she was almost a block up the road. It was pretty crazy, because it happened like right in front of us, as we were standing on the corner.
