the Wilcannia Mob
Any Aussie who listens to triple J may have heard the Wilcannia Mob. I have only heard one song...a rap, about "we go to the river, we dive off the bridge, we catch the fish, we stick him in the fridge..." someone has recorded and helped a group of inland aboriginal kids get their musical careers off to an early start. Aboriginal people usually have strong accents and they just sound so cute and happy....

Bunny Wailer
Wilco
Waterboys
Don Williams
Was not Waz
Wall of Voodoo...it was a mexican woohoo radio ( there were some funny songs about during that era )
the future's so bright...................... I gotta wear shades

In response to the job question, my friend's aunt is president of the music publishing company. I don't work there any more though. Very boring music publishing is. (At least what I did.)

I see you lost your bet over in IO. My condolences. I never thought she'd do it either. I was a good read though!
