We actually got out of work at 3:30 today. Our old system and our new system that we are starting to use on Monday needed to be merged today starting at 3:00. It didn't take long for my manager to see that no one was reading their training manuals so she let us go. If we don't know it after 2 months of training, we never will!

I told my sister today about U2 and Green Day performing on MNF. She then asked me, "Are they going to sing that 'Are you ready for some football?/All my rowdy friends are coming over tonight' song?"

And she was serious.

Then I thought, "You know, I'd kind of like to see them do that!" .

We finally have been slammed with all of the product we've been told we'd be receiving the past few weeks so I busted my butt last night and went in early this morning to do some OT. I then came home to change and was out the door to Job 2 only to realize I had to work there until 6 instead of what I had thought was 4!

N at work made sure I knew about U2/Green Day as soon as I walked in the door yesterday.

Quotes of the day....all in reference to leopard print flats with fur balls at the end of a bow.

D: Hey look at these....they look like little rabbit balls.

R: *missed D's comment* LOOK! Fuzzy balls! I like these!
D: I want some!

D is a girl and R is a guy by the way.

At Job 2 we have some holiday stuff in and there are some ornament ball soaps. I thought of Shari when I saw them since she had been dealing with holiday ball shaped things this week.

I haven't had a chance to get to the grocery store in almost 2 weeks. I've been living off of pb&j sandwiches, oatmeal, frozen veggies, and Lipton rice and pasta dishes. Well....I'm kind of out. Of everything. I was supposed to go to dinner after work tonight, then go to the store tomorrow. I decided after work that I didn't feel so great and didn't want to go out afterall. I also forgot that I have no food. I have 1 piece of bread. I just love working 2 jobs and trying to have a life outside of work and forgetting that I have no food.

speaking of food......more baking with my mom tomorrow. She wants to make a few cakes for a holiday next weekend, including an apple cake that my grandma made up. She bought a pumpkin bread mix for me. She also said she has an actual recipe we can use to make pumpkin bread from scratch instead of a mix. YUM!

I finally had a few hours of peace and quiet of doing nothing but relaxing in front of the TV.

We have nothing here either so that means it's the grocery store for me tomorrow. I meant to go get a few things after work tonight but I forgot as well so you aren't alone!

Are the Lipton rice and pasta dishes any good?

there's major weather drama tonight and Sven is off today! I love it when he gets all hyped up and excited over a storm. I can't wait to see what he's like in a snow storm!

They're good but not great. It's one of those things that I stock up on and make when I have nothing else. They're easy to make and only take a few minutes to cook. The thai noodle and spanish rice are my favorites. The grocery store I go to usually has them on sale 10 $10 so I try to stock up when they're on sale but otherwise they're still really cheap. I don't mind them but after you have it a few times a week it gets to be really old. It's still a good thing to have for nights like tonight when I have nothing else. I just didn't realize I'm out of that too.
