you can't just pop into your local tesco buy a 4 pack of kryptonite lol.

anyhow, let's be honest, much like arsenal tomorrow, they'd both get knocked out and double teamed by mellberg and harewood....

Kezman's at Fenerbahce, and is apparently back to his best after his horror spells at Chelsea and to a lesser extent Atletico Madrid.

I always thought he'd come good at Chelsea because he had such an amazing record in Holland and he had a fantastic pre-season as well but I think he suffered by being third-choice behind Drogba and Gudjohnsen and by the time he had a sustained run in the side his confidence was pretty much shot to bits.

Well worth a punt by a mid-table Prem side, I think...

^ Manchester city if sven was a gambling man unfortunately the government has blocked the proposed casino due to be built in the area.

I seriously think we could go down now :(

On current form, & also looking at their final 10 games, its definetly a strong possibilty, 4 home, & 6 away.

Home: Fulham, Reading, Sunderland, & Chelsea, ordinarily I'd fancy the barcodes to win 3 & draw 1 of those, but 3 teams fighting for their lives, & 1 with an eye on the title, anything could happen.

Away: Liverpool, Brum, Spurs, Pompey, W. Ham, & Everton, as I said, on current form you really wouldn't want to put too much money on them to get many points from that lot. Whatever happens, its gonna be tight at the bottom.

Disappointing as it must have been 1Step, to concede at such a time, you must be encouraged by how Villa are coming together as a team, a few months ago, I watched them, & thought how disjointed their play seemed, just no fluidity or cohesion to their game that day, but after seeing highlights yesterday, what most impressed me was the overall performance throuhout the team from back to front, away from home to one of the best teams around, and losing 2 players early on to injury, MO'N has got them really playing well together with a lot of confidence & self belief, & if he can make a couple of significant signings in the close season, I really believe a top 4 finish next season must be an aim, & not a hope.

yeah with Martin O'Neill at the helm anything is possible, it's just that bit of class that's needed now. every villa fan will tell you that last summers signings were a bit of an anti-climax when they were made but they do seem to have worked. much like fergie does, he seems to fire up players and make them perform like their lives depend on it, see the second half against newcastle the other week for a good example.

i suppose the fact that we've been dissapointed with getting only draws away to liverpool, arsenal and spurs shows how far this team has come in only a year and a half and how far it might go in the next 2-3 years

Reckon we should get through 2moro night with the home advantage. We should be too strong for them. Not sure about Arsenal tho. And they were bloody lucky against Villa 1step!! Couldnt believe that they got an equaliser!:madspit:

Quote of the year from Fergie: "The usual 7 mins of injury time at Arsenal"! From HIM!?!

30 in 30 for Ronaldo. Truly world class. We are looking pretty comfortable, so i'd be suprised if we didnt get at least one more in the 2nd half.

United were poor in the 2nd half. Gratz to Arsenal, first english team to beat Milan in Italy.

^Agree. Once again we made it hard for ourselves when we should've wrapped it up. Arsenal did well, fairplay to em'. I'd love to draw them in the next round! Love it!

Arsenal beating milan could be the best result of the night for man united if you ask me. united always struggle against milan and especially after last years footballing lesson they dished out at the san siro in the semi final, the one team united wanted to avoid would have been ac milan. now arsenal are through instead and if united should draw them then their chances of advancing are much healthier in my eyes.

i've watched them play each other twice this season and arsenal grabbed a lucky draw at the emirates whilst at old trafford they got humped 4-0.

i could be totally wrong but there's my two cents anyway.

For a team of madrids stature they have been horrid in CL for years now.
