Are theme parks empty on Super Bowl Sunday?

Just a quick question.

I plan to go to a theme park (Six Flags Magic Mountain, specifically) on Super Bowl Sunday (February 1st). I heard that the park is empty on that day, but is this true?

I went to Disneyland on Super Bowl Sunday a few years back. Attendance was a little lighter, but it was not empty.

The Superbowl doesn't start until late afternoon.

What time does it start in the central?

Still...people who go the amusment parks are usually winding down in the afternoon anyway.

Remember, we get something like 6 hours of pregame programming. This can be more interesting than the game!

it's all about snacks and commercials.

and sometimes the game.

I hope the panthers win, but I'm not too into it.
