This a new band who have already had exposure for their latest single and album title track in the recent VW Beetle tv ad.

The band is in fact only one person, namely singer/songwriter Matt Hales.

Aqualung are soft mix of Coldplay vocals and Radiohead quirkiness. The album has an orchestral feel to it with most of the songs relying on a wide range of instruments giving it a pre-club bar feel. You can here a lot of advert and tv material when you listen to it. There isn't really a stand out track as they are all of the same style, which could be seen as a safe but at least you know what to expect.

Vocals from Matt Hales are gentle but at some times become overtaken by the music due to his singing style.

If you were to visualize the album you think of the black and white photographs telling a rather sad story.

Aqualung will follow in the tradition of the likes of Coldplay and Radiohead and have a large following, especially if the media picks up on it.

I will put money on them being a hit
