Anybody else hit by the hurricane?

Hope everybody on Canada's east coast is allright... Hurricane Juan hit last night and it wasn't pretty, especially for Halifax which had to declare a state of emergency.

It could have been worse I suppose, but there were a couple casualties.

Sorry to hear that No thanks, already had one, Isabel. I had two trees down, no phone for 3 days, no electricity for 5 days, nothing but peanut butter and spam spread, everything closed or crowded like a war zone, still a big mess everywhere. I hope everyone up there will be okay. Isabel caused millions, maybe billions in damage and 40 lives, including an old Amish man and his daughter who tried to cross the swollen creek in a buggy. Now Kate is coming, and after that, the next one will be named Larry. I hope he behaves himself.

I'm fine. Someone I know had a tree crash through the house, effectively dividing it in two.

It was insane.
