Any paper helpers out there....

(Mods if this is in the wrong place Please Move, thanks)

Here's the scenario: The paper I am working on is about Claude Monet's Waterlily Pond. I have to find a song (doesnt matter what kind it is) and poem that goes with the painting. Well I have found the poem I am just having major problems with finding a song to go with the poem.

any suggestions??????

here's a link to the painting: http://www.worldartsales.net/monet/mo09.htm

and I just want to say that I want serious suggestions bc this paper is worth 1/2 my grade!!

thanks!!!

Bridge Over Troubled Waters?

I know it's a cliche, but the painting has a softness to it, and so does Art Garfunkel's voice.

What about 'La Vie En Rose' its a famous French song and has been done by Edith Piaf and Louis Armstrong and probably many, many others and I guess the connection could be that they are both famous French 'arty' things, one being a song and one a painting. Or if you are stuck try looking at all of Edith Piaf's entire catalogue, she was a hugely famous and popular French singer- she would surely have a song that would suit your needs......
