Any Garbage Fans???

Did anyone here get to see them open for U2 in 2001. I have to say that they were probably my favorite opener.

I was wondering why Gwen Stefani got to sing What's Going On with U2 onstage while Shirley Manson didn't.

That always struck me as odd.

I have always liked Garbage and always wondered why that happenned.

I used to have all their songs but I somehow deleted "nobody can win" and "space can come through anyone" (if anyone here has those 2 songs and would be willing to ysi them or email them...)

but that is beside the point.

I loved garbage back in the 90s. fav band. Now its u2. Garbage ditched me and ran after the gay market. i keep in touch but its not the same. U2 keeps me satisfied.

I completely lost track of them after Version 2.0. And I still miss the 90's goodness in songs like Stupid Girl, Only Happy When It Rains and Paranoid!

Heard they're splitting up. That's too bad.

their first two albums were great, beautiful garbage, not so much. their last album was just awful.

Haven't picked up their latest album yet... I mostly listen to the "older" stuff...
