Little hand says it's time to rock and roll.
I haven't listened to him in a while (I've been in more of a guitar/amp phase), but I put on a few of his CD's the last few days. What a fricken genius.

Any one else get into his music? If not I highly recomend you check him out. Jazz man that uses a lot (A LOT) of unique sounds (i.e. warped strings, pedal distorted piano, piano strings dampened with puddy, etc.)

"Largo" is a good starter CD. If you like that let me know and I will recomend some more challenging stuff.

All I know about him is that he plays on the MDH soundtrack and his name is hard to spell.

Nothing. Brad Meldau is a jazz pianist that uses a lot of expiramental sounds.

Radiohead fans will no him for his amazing covers of songs like Paranoid Android, Exit Music, and Everything in its Right Place. Meldau is cool because his at once an amazing pianist and very daring with the new soundscapes he brings to the genre. Think Kid Aish w/o words and hope and you are getting there...
