That's 3 this week alone in CA....Anza, Crescent City and Yucaipa (San Bernardino county).........its been a long while since we've had such a string in such varying locations. The house shook like it was directly beneath us...which worries me because we're right atop the Whittier-Yorba Linda fault line.........

:yikes:

Glad you're all relatively OK though. A family friend of ours was caught in a quake in the valley about 10 years ago I think? Nearly destroyed her family's entire house. :|

Northridge quake...officially a 7.3 but according to some of my insurance specialists that quake was probably closer to an 8...BUT, the powers that be did not want to release that # for fear of everybody moving from the area...a lot of commerce out there....I worked a couple of cases stemming from damage in that quake....

what the public doesnt know wont hurt them :shifty:

unless they get killed in an earthquake i guess

My sources about that remark are pretty genuine...one even commented that he thought it was a 9 considering how spread the damage was ...from the edge of Antelope Valley through Northridge, Santa Clarita and Santa Monica...many of the freeway overpasses were knocked out...it was ugly...we were in OC during that one and our house rocked....we had all four kids living with us at the time, all 6 of us huddled in the living room...and we were 70 miles east of the epicenter.....
