Apparently Andy Taylor is leaving Duran Duran [again],according to a newspaper its the age old excuse of "creative differences"which i think was the same reason given in 1986. I see a phone call to Warren Cuccurullo soon.

This thread is already sinking to the second page? I thought Khanada Rhodes would be all over it!

Here is the official statement from the other 4 original remaining members of Duran Duran:

A Message to our Fans
To Our Fans

We know that there has been a tremendous amount of speculation over the past few weeks regarding Andy Taylor's continued involvement with the band and we are sorry that we've been unable to provide you with more information until now. The past five years have been an incredible journey for us all - and having the original five back together was something that we had wanted to see happen for some time. As of last weekend, however, the four of us have dissolved our partnership and will be continuing as Duran Duran without Andy, as we have reached a point in our relationship with him where there is an unworkable gulf between us and we can no longer effectively function together. Although obviously disappointed and saddened about this, we are excited about the next chapter of the Duran Duran story and look forward to seeing you all soon.

Simon, John, Nick and Roger

I don't think so. There is no love lost between John Taylor and Warren. DD essentially "fired" Warren. His love for porn grossed the other Duran's out , I think.

Well, at least I got to see them as the "Fab Five" once in my life. Last March in The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Awesome, AWESOME show! Just amazing. I never thought a synth-pop, New Romantic band could rock so hard! "Wild Boys" was just off the charts! Actually, the whole show was off the charts.

I was at that show, too. It was amazing. Remember all the texts before the show about JT wearing leather pants?? one of them was me

That show was sort of the end of my 'durandom" so to speak. I didn't think much else could top it so I quit going to shows, I have a great one in my head as my last memory of the Fab Five.

She's probably in mourning. I think she was set to see them sometime soon on the new tour. Ah well...maybe it was meant to be. I wonder if the group's work with hip-hop producer Timbaland had something to do with Andy's departure?
