Good grief. That's kind of weird because here in the UK, we didn't have cable TV until 1988 (when SkyBSB came along). We were stuck with a mere 4 channels, nationwide, and I still saw PB. Ah well, never mind - you must have had better things to do!

As for what happened: the poor kid had to have breast reduction surgery at 15, as she had become huge, and was suffering from bad back problems as a result (she was only about 4ft 11in
tall back then).

We also had the record from Wizard of Oz that had the witch song that told you to dial 0-0-0-0-0-0-0 to reach her. Man did the operator hate us. "Are your parents home? Does your mom know you are using the telephone? This isn't a toy. What if someone had an emergency?" This was before 9-1-1 and they had real people manning the switchboards. [/B]
ROFLMFAO!

Ah yes. Richard Milhouse Stabone. No wonder the poor sod called himself Boner.

I forgot to add Silver Spoons to the list. I never watched it but I'm sure many others must have, judging by the frequency with which it was on TV!

Gimme A Break was on a lot...

Also, just found this:

and am now traumatised.

Just remembered the sitcom with 'Swingin' on a Star' as the theme tune: Out of This World.
