Will someone hold my hair while I throw up during Kristy's performance? She had to pick one of the worst songs in the history of music. It was absolutely indulgent, and I loathe the utter arrogance of that song.

What did David just do to one of the greatest pop/dance songs of all time? That was almost as painful as Kristy's massacre of "Eight Days a Week"

Watching the highlights-Props to Jason for doing Fragile...I love that song, and it's not one of Sting's more famous songs.

I don't like that snippit of Brooke's version of of Every Breath You Take.

I'm always skeptical of people doing Queen songs.

That's my take of what I've seen tonight.

I REALLY liked Michael Johns, I just love the sound of his voice. I liked Jason Castro also.

Kristy Blah.

David Cook. Wow he's great!

Can't remember anyone else.

Okay, my take on tonight:

Ramiele--> better than last week but still a little karaoke. Carrie Underwood did it better.

Jason--> Pretty good but I thought the band overwhelmed the vocals a bit.

Chickieze--> I want fun Chikieze back. Good vocal but borrrrring.

Brooke--> boring. I got no love for Brooke. Her vocals aren't anything special for me.

Michael Johns--> I was afraid his performance was going to be cheesy but I was pleasantly surprised. He delivered a convincing rendition.

Carly--> I was sure Simon was going to call her performance "indulgent." I thought it was solid though.

David A.--> Weird song. I loved Simon's dig about who picked the song for him. Could this be in reference to David's diva "stage father" we've heard whispers about???

Kristy--> Again That song make me think of 4 of July fireworks. While I don't hate it (I can't say I've never done a rousing karaoke rendition of the song) I thought it was an odd choice. Better than the last 2 weeks for sure though.

Syesha--> Impressive performance this week. I don't know why she's so hot and cold week to week.

David C.--> Brilliant. I love the chances this guy takes every week. I have to admit I was skeptical of the song choice when I read the spoiler. I can freely admit I was wrong.

I think Kristy or Ramiele will go home.

Michael Johns and David Cook FTMFW. Everyone else pales in comparison vocally and otherwise, IMO.

On another note, would Simon please stop making ridiculous analogies that make no sense? Tonight's worst offender: comparing David A's performance to something from a theme park. Yeah it was a pitchy and wooden mess, but his analogy still made no sense. What's next, "You sounded like mouthwash"? "That sounded like a bad hair care product"? "You sound like a dilapidated town house"? I love an amusing comparison, but Simon just really doesn't have as much wit as he used to. I blame Fox.

Simon's always used that theme park one, hasn't he? Comparing a singer to one of the nameless people you can see singing in a little show at a theme park near you.

I think it's usually pretty apt.

Brooke was her usual sweetheart self and I loved it. I agreed with the judges saying that the beginning is where she was strongest. And I think that has to do with the fact that that is actually the strongest part of the song. The bridges of 'Every Breath You Take' just aren't as memorable as the verses.

As for Carly - I've said it before but she has easily the strongest voice of the whole lot. However, I can't listen to Total Eclipse of the Heart without thinking of the wedding-band version at the beginning of the movie Old School

Kristy Lee actually had me laughing out-loud during that song. CHEESE on top of CHEESE on top of CORN. I still like her, though, and hope she escapes elimination again.

And if you guys are wondering where that fucking asshole David Cook came up with the arrangement for Billie Jean....well he COMPLETELY ripped it off of Chris Cornell. And he makes me sick. So fuck him. He can take a swan-dive off of a skyscraper into a pile of curdled elephant shit.
