Kristy Lee is pretty much signing her walking papers with that song choice. Fine with me, cuz she needs to go, along with another one of the bland blondes.

I think Brooke is in trouble too. All that song is gonna do is cement the fact that she can't belt out any tunes. She's more of a folky singer and those types never make it far in this competition.

I'm already dreading skunkhead Amanda's performance. I hope she does more than growl her way through it. Ugh.

I think tonight will make or break Kady. I think she actually has a pretty decent voice, but she blew it last week with her song selection.

Same here. She's just annoying and she's really not all that talented or original.

I've been in the Carly-is-overrated group, and I completely disagree with Simon's comments about her being the best female vocalist this year. That being said, I did like her performance tonight. She sounded great, rock definitely suits her voice more than pop. Also, I loved her outfit and boots. I wish Syesha had picked a different song, but I' did like seeing a different side to her voice since I've only heard her belt before. I disagreed with the judges and thought she sounded beautiful.

I LOVED Brooke's performance She sounded perfect. I love the folk/rock quality to her voice, and I loved her guitar playing. I completely disagree with the judge's comments about Ramiele just being ok. "Don't Leave Me This Way" is my favorite disco song, so I get a little testy if someone does a shitty cover of it. Ramiele's vocals blew me away, and she just gave a fun performance.

On a side note, I'm seriously considering starting a drinking game for every time Randy says "dawg" and/or "pitchy". We'd all have alcohol poisoning by the end of the show, though.

What Kristy Lee did to "You're No Good" should be a considered a capital crime. The voice was ok, but she has no business being in this competition. I could be at karoake with my friends and hear that. Her performing personality is lethargic. But, hey, at least she dressed for the decade...if she frequents Donna Summer night at her local gay bar.

Amanda's hair terrified me, and as much as I love "Carry On Wayward Son", I don't think it was the right song choice. I still LOVE her voice. She's a rocker, the fact that her voice is rough and imperfect is an asset. Most rock singers don't have techinally brilliant, pristine voices a la Mariah Carey. I find them much more real and much better. 3 notes in to Alaina's version of "Hopelessly Devoted to You", and I'll never be able watch "Grease" again. I despise everything about her vocals and performance.

Alex still has fantastic vocals, but I wasn't a fan of the song for her. Chicago is one of my favorite bands when it comes to their 70s output because I was raised on it by my mom and dad. Her voice is just too soulful for that type of song. Kady sucked like a Hoover. She was out of tune and the microphone stand has more charisma than her when she's performing.

I detest "All By Myself" so much that I wouldn't care for it even if Bono performed it. That said, Asia'h is still one of the strongest female vocalists this year, and I want to steal her outfit.

No. I have to confess that the only song I know by Heart is "Alone", but I do love it. My mom's a big Heart fan, so I'm probably going to try checking out more of their work.

Because Simon told her that she was better that way. It's sad really.

I think the judges are being a bit harsh tonight. Carly and Syesha both sounded great, imo. I think they're way better than the boys last night.

I do agree it wasn't Ramielle's best, but she'll be fine. What do they expect when these kids who weren't even born in the 70's have to pick and perform songs that they've probably never even heard of?

I think Carly is a way better rock singer than Amanda.

Oh my god, you seriously have to.

70s Heart >>>>>>>> 80s Heart.

Ann Wilson= best female rock vocalist ever.
