Of course, my idea of cute can grow full facial hair and buy a beer.

Agreed..that was absolutely horrifying.

Ha ha ha ... true. My problem with Sanjaya is his awful hair. If he had a shorter haircut, he'd be such a little doll.

(Plus, he's one of the Seattle singers, so I have to root for him, even though he's pretty weak.)

Can I be a bit self-indulgent? I just got some very personal news concerning Idol. If you're interested, let me know.

Okay, I just got off the phone with a producer at our local Fox affiliate. Apparently the newsroom is a buzz over my AI blog at the affiliate's website. They find it entertaining, well-written, and knowledgeable. In the near future, as the AI season goes on, I'm probably going to be interviewed about my blog and AI. They might do the interview at my home (oy, do I have a lot of overhauling to do) or I might make a trip to the studio.

Needless to say, I'm very excited. I also want to barf.

Tell me again the local Fox affiliate where you are? I can't remember what it's called.

Ah yes, good old channel 6.

Sometimes I miss Milwaukee - I loved the Summerfest reference in your recap earlier this week.

Although I don't miss it in the winters.
