I used to be a huge Green Day fan back when I was in high school....but thier new album is really something. Anyone have any thoughts? What exactly was the deal with the FCC wanting to ban the album---which only proves that Armstrong's lyrics had a definete point.....

I like this album very much. The FCC has no reason to ban this. It's hardly political, it's much more social and intimate. But the lead single is misleading. I give this album

Wake me up when september ends

Very good album, Homecoming is my favorite

Saw Green Day last night in Denver, it was awesome

I'm going to buy this on November 23, along with another album that I've been waiting for a long, loooong time...!

"Boulevard of Broken Dreams" is great. That title reminds me of all us brokenhearted Kerry voters...anyway, "Jesus of Suburbia" is really good too.

K-ROCK in NYC plays both songs constantly, and they are just about always in the top 5 most voted on list on the station.

I really like this album a whole lot. I like "Are We the Waiting".

Sidenote: Billy Jo's sister is in a couple of my classes. She's a really good poet.
