If someone asks me what I miss most from home, one of the first things I name is cheese.

Dutch cheese
Some of my favourite cheeses are Edam and Gouda (and they have to be imported -- the domestic ones just don't have the right taste). .

If you really thought about the whole process, you probably wouldn't eat any cheese.

(My favorite is anything Italian. I stay away from cheese that has been ripened in French caves that gets its special flavor from vipers crawling over it!!! )

You know Eliv8 and PlaTheGreat, this is just a fun thread about cheese. So why don't the two of you take your pissing contest to elsewhere?

I'm pretty sure Pla was posting in jest. Not sure about Eliv8, but he tends to appreciate humour as well, so I have a feeling his post was also in jest.

Now THAT stuff's the shit. Makes me terribly sick though.

My housemate makes baked macaroni and cheese with cheddar cheese. I ate too much last week and got so sick I had to miss a midterm exam. I still love cheese though, and since I'm calcium deficient (never drank milk, never will), I get to eat as much as I want
