that's fantastic

black and white pictures to me always seemed kind of otherworldly, like it's not quite real
seeing these colorized makes the era seem a little more personal... if that makes senes

Cool pics because like many others I have a difficult time visualizing the past because everything is in B & W.

Colorized anything always reminds me of when Ted Turner decided to trash a bunch of classic films. But damn...these actually look real. They've certainly made an awful lot of progress in the technology of colorization over the last 20 years!

wow beautiful pics
this is really neat to me cause when I was younger I always saw the pictures from the great depression, civil war, etc. and wondered what they looked like when they were colored
