Hey all,

Irish friends of mine have a band and they've recorded a few of their songs (in different quality). Some of these songs are more finished than others so they're looking for as many reviews and opinions on them as possible.

Which one is ur favorite and why? What do u think about the lyrics? What about the music in general?

Constructive criticism is muchly appreciated.

Thanks a lot for taking the time :D!!!

Thank you very much. I thought maybe this is the right place to get some opinions on my friends' band, that's all. They're all Irish and even manage to cover U2 .

I just wasn't sure about which folder to post this in.

ok, maybe bait is needed

the person with the best (most complete) review will receive something really cool from my U2 dvd collection

not sure what you are trying to say with that but the fact that someone covered 'Desire' at live gigs in the past doesn't influence or change the sound of their own songs

aww, now I can't take the moral high ground. Really, what is it with some of you here? We can't have many Coldplay threads, even though they're very big, but we can't have someone try to discuss bands too small either?

Wild Honey - I haven't listened to all of them but they do seem reasonably catchy. I'd like to hear a studio version of By The Wayside if ever there is one, it reminds me of Turin Brakes. I think there are a few too many Celtic/traditional sounds in many songs, Alright in particular would grate on me, but that's my personal taste.
