does anyone on here listen to this guy? he's a great guitarist & equally good songwriter. I've been a fan for a few years now and seen him in concert twice:drool:

He just came out with "speechless" an all instrumental album (acoustic) which I highly reccomend

if anyone has any questions about his stuff, post them here :D

I have Stealing Fire which is a great album. But that is all I've ever heard of his work. Knowing I like that album, what should I aim to pick up next?

:)

good album

"Trouble With Normal" album came out the year before stealing fire, so it has a similar sound and it's one of my favorite albums :) and if you really like his acoustic guitar playing the new instrumental album is a must have:drool:

the albums he made before 83/84 get more like folk the farther back you go...all the way to his first album in 1970/71

I've always loved Bruce. He is a great musician. Foxglove is one of my favourite instrumentals... oh.. wait I just see in your post above that he has an instrumental album out. Ooh. I think I'm going to have to check that out.

Some of my favs:

All the Diamonds
Pacing The Cage
Great Big Love
When A Tree Falls
You Don't Have To Play The Horses
Night Train

etc

I know there are tons I'm missing... oh If I Had A Rocket Launcher too.

He did a verse of Keep on Rockin' in the Free World with Neil Young at the Live 8 Canada finale and sounded great as ever.
