Okay, I got to thinking- it seems like it's a crime around here to not like one of U2's albums, and then flames are thown over what a terrible person you are not to like this one by someone else who likes it and dislikes another one! Why is it so big a deal, because we feel so deeply attached to U2? If you get to thinking, isn't there something by just about everybody you like that you think sucks? Think about it, there is, and no one ever thinks twice about it. They just laugh, or ignore it. No big deal unless it's U2.

So let's make a list here of songs or albums you hate by OTHER artists or bands, even though you love them and most of their other stuff!

Some of mine are:

The Beatles: Oh Darling, She's A Woman

Led Zeppelin: The Crunge

Queen: Radio Ga Ga :barf:

Styx: Mr. Roboto

Red Hot Chili Peppers: Give it away now

The Who: Eminence Front

Yes: The Relayer album

also there are songs on Alanis' latest CD that I cannot STAND. Also I love Elton John dearly....but Benni and the Jets makes me eat paint.

U2 - when love comes to town
Pink Floyd - Seamus
Nine Inch Nails - Big Man With a Gun, Ripe (with decay)
Black Sabbath - Changes
Aerosmith - Done with Mirrors (album)
Weezer - Maladroit (album)
Red Hot Chili Peppers - One Hot Minute (album)

I have the same urge Edgeman, Maladroit is my fav. Weezer album. Everyone has their own opinions though, so it's all good.

silverchair - Anthem for the Year 2000
oasis - Digsy's Dinner
garbage - Breaking up the Girl
red hot chili peppers - Parallel Universe
dido - Honestly ok, My Life
coldplay - We Never Change
the verve - The Rolling People, Catching the Butterfly, Neon Wilderness

U2 - The Wanderer (Zooropa)

REM - Hope (Up)

ack! I love this song. Sometimes I just need to scream that chorus at the top of my lungs.

U2 - "Peace on Earth" (second time I've dissed that song today) :silent:

Tori Amos - most everything on "Strange Little Girls"

Dave Matthews Band - "I Did It"

Jeff Buckley - So Real
DMB - Where Are You Going (or whatever that new one is called - I call it booooooring!)
REM - most of Up

and that's all I can think of for now.

I agree partly, I think So Real is my least favorite on grace. You know they he was actually going to put Forget Her on in place of So Real but decided it was too personal (if you haven't heard "Forget Her" then you must get in now!)

But I think So Real is still a good song...its a grower

here's one--->
Radiohead - Pulk /Pull
besides for some interesting quirky lyrics this song really does a lot to taint amnesiac. I think said album would be better than KidA if it wasn't for the addition of this pointless "song" and I use that lightly

The Cure, Just Say Yes. They put this song on their greatest hits album as a new song, it's absolutely terrible.
