Paul Simon's album "Surprise" was one of his best EVER!....

2006 was THE comeback year for Barry Manilow. His album the "Greatest hits of the 50's" was his first No.1 in 30 years...and also fantastic. He has now released the "Greatest hits of the 60's" and it debuted at No.2 on Billboard.

2007 will be the year of Darren Hayes (ex-Savage Garden). He's just finishing recording of a double album of original material which is slated to be one of the most important releases of the coming year. A record with a new sound like nothing you've ever heard before and which is so NOT Savage Garden........

Please don't take offense, but is this post supposed to be a joke or a serious assessment of 2006 and 2007? If it's serious, it's all good; more power to you, even though I couldn't possibly disagree any more fervently than I do.

Rock/adult contemporary on!

Of course I don't take offense...you have every right to disagree with me, that's what we're here for, right?.....

As for my post, I was offering my personal opinions as to the past year and the coming year and, as I said, you can either agree or disagree....it's all good.
