Alan Shearer

Despite the unsavoury stamping incident with Neil Lennon still one of the greatest players ever. One of the most complete strikers I have ever seen.

Goodbye, Big Al.

Agree totally.

Anyone who turns down Man Utd twice deserves all the plaudits he can get!

Seriously tho, he played for the team he supported as a kid instead of going to another team where he could have earned a lot more money.

Despite him scoring a hatrick against Arsenal on his debut, i'll miss him playing.

As a Newcastle fan, it's sad to see him go, but it's great to be able to look forward to his continued presence at the club.

ESPECIALLY considering how the team has been performing with him as an assistant coach so far!

He is easily the greatest Premiership player ever.
