Hey Dubliners!

I wasn't really sure where to post this kind of question but this seemed like the most appropriate place. U2 fans are always so nice and helpful

A dear friend is moving to Dublin soon and I want to help her get the lay of the land. She loves good restaurants, a good shoe store and places like parks to take her toddler. She's not quite the U2 fan that I am but it would be fun for her to know where she might get a glimpse of Bono, The Edge, Larry or Adam besides The Clarence Hotel. Of course she'd never stalk them at their homes, I was just wondering about more public places.

Can you please help me with some suggestions? Thanks!!!

Sorry, I should have answered this.

Bono and Edge live in Dalkey, in south Dublin. Bono can sometimes be spotted in the Killiney Court Hotel nearby, or doin' his shopping in Dalkey village. I don't know of any more haunts I'm afraid.

Restaurants, there are hundreds.

Shoe shops, Grafton Street in the city centre has the most fashionable ones.

Parks, Phoenix Park 2 miles from the city centre is one of the largest parks in Western Europe. There are plenty of parks in and around Dublin. Herbert Park and Marlay Park are two nice ones.

If you know the general area she plans on living I can provide more pointers!
