Actors doing sequels far removed from their predecessors...

Seems to be a trend...

Bruce Willis is signed on for Die Hard 4, to be shot in the Fall. The last Die Hard movie, 'Die Hard With A Vengeance' came out in 1995, a full decade ago.

Harrison Ford is signed on for Indiana Jones 4, script is reportedly finished, don't know when it's to be shot. The last Indiana Jones movie, 'Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade' came out in 1989, 16 years ago.

And perhaps the least plausible....Yes, it seems Sylvester Stallone has written a script for Rocky VI, and a studio is interested. It's not a sure thing yet, apparently it depends on how much money he makes from 'The Contender', because he needs money to make it. The last Rocky movie, Rocky V, came out in 1990, 15 years ago.

They had a script done a few years back, but if I recall, George Lucas didn't like it.

I don't know - Harrison Ford is getting a bit old for it, but with a little Hollywood touch up, anything is possible.

This is because Hollywood has no new ideas.

Made evident by the number of crappy sequels and old TV shows made into movies.
