As Earnie pointed out, we say "dance/chance/France" as "dahnce" etc, not a flat "a". That's about the only real difference between us and you lot.

And I dunno where you got this thong thing from? The rubber things on your feet? They're thongs! Underwear butt-floss? They're g-strings! What do you call them???

I think they spell it as aluminum, and thus the pronunciation?

I hate Hong Kong people trying to Americanise their accent while they are actually pronouncing and using the words like Brits. They thought adding weird 'rrrrr's after every single damned word would make they sound better. No, that sounds stupid really.
