So I downloaded impy's tracks(thanks again!) and I re-read this thread to see what other's were saying about these B-sides.

For whatever reason this jumped out at me:

I guess someone's been listening to U2 recently and/or one of Bono's Africa speeches.

I'll have it up as soon as I can.

Edit: Actually, I can put the link the the project up already. As of right now it doesn't have everything in it, but it will pretty soon. Tack this baby onto the end of the site's URL:

Ah, I'd love to get a hold of these too but am unsure which site I should add the URL to?

Thanks!

And by the way, X&Y came out two years ago today...(in North America anyway) - I remember that because it was also my first date with my now-boyfriend so yes, there's a lot of attachment to that album but so far only good memories associated with it! *fingers crossed*

Wow, why didn't The World Turned Upside Down make the album?

It's better than half of the album.

because of it sucks

I mean people complain about Martin's bad rhymes and overuse of his falsetto...this song is filled with both.

So's most of the album. This one is one of the least offenders I guess.

I also like The World Turned Upside Down. It's got a nice groove to it. And there's even a bit of vocoder at the end. Not too many Coldplay songs feature that...

Gravity >>>>> Fix You

not enough falsetto.

I put Fix You back on my iPod to cheer me up. When I'm depressed, at least I know someone's out there making the funniest song of all-time.

Can you guys believe that was supposed to be a love song?

"Could it be woOoOoOoOoOoOoOorse?"

it is pretty awful...

the tune itself isn't too bad but I was just going over the lyrics trying to find a bright spot and I'm having trouble...

It has the "too tired to sleep" cliché line which has been used by way too many and I know this has been said before but how does someone "ignite their bones"...

Cremation perhaps?
