Wonder how long it'll take Ewen to find this thread... :hmm:

I've loved ABBA since I was a young teenager. And, in fact, I took my mom to see Mamma Mia for her birthday a few months ago, and we both really loved it! :)

nineteen and a half hours.

I can't believe there's a thread praising this group!

why?

...because it's a fact that this group are great. I ditto everything said by Popmartijn.

My friend's brother was musical director for the Mamma Mia show in London's West End. Pax, we so have to see that show in Broadway together when I'm next over in the States. I was thrilled for you when you went to it a few months ago.

Pax, think of me returning back to Edinburgh from Glasgow on the night of the U2 concert last month:

I was sick and tired
of everything
when I called you
last night from Glasgow
all I do is eat
and sleep and sing
wishing every show
was the last show
so imagine I was
glad to hear you’re coming
suddenly I feel all right
and it’s gonna be
so different when
I’m on the stage tonight

I cannot believe that I have something in common with Pax and Ewen... oh, well, there is a start for everything :D

I also love Abba. As a matter of fact, we watched Mamma Mia this past weekend and loved it. The plot is crap but the songs were great!
