Thank you ylimeU2 and Caroni.
It really was a great moment with the sunlight on the water.

Kangaroo Island is a small island south of Adelaide in Australia.

A beautiful island that claims to have the air with the least pollution worldwide.

Amazing was to being at the south coast, looking south and thinking that between the beach and the antarctic there's only about 5000km of water and the water came directly from there.

Here's the Russell Falls in Tasmania

Very Nice. I like the Butterfly. It's such a pain trying to caputre something like that. I finally caught a bee on a flower when I was in Ireland.

The butterfly was fairly cooperative. You're a brave man going after bees. :yikes:

I'm not much of a photographer but since there seems to be kind of a 'favorite nature places' theme going here--these are a few pictures from our favorite of all the places we've ever hiked: Parc national des Pyrenees, Hautes-Pyrenees, France.

oooo, I like the bee and those are nice, yolland!

My "favorite nature places" would be....

Lake Manyara park, Tanzania (composite shot)
photo119.jpg

Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania (180 degree composite shot)
photo169.jpg

The second one is my fave, sorry it's so small. It's hard to convince your eyes, but that's actually a 180 degree angle, about a dozen photos in all.

EDIT: The giant version of the Crater panorama

I love your photos Yolland. You have alot of Tallent. And Liesje I love Panoramic shots!!

For Bodie, Justin, I find it helps to take several pictures of tourist attractions. That way, when you open 'em up in Photoshop you can patch together a clean version with no people in the shot.
