I think the scathing lyrics of this song exactly match the guitars...

If love is a drug than I don't need it

Richard Ashcroft's girl left him while they were making this album. He was pissed and depressed, and it really shows in the lyrics.

On Your Own

Just when I start to think Interference is getting boring, we have a party listening to such a great album.

It's been boring as hell the past 2 -3 weeks.

On Your Own

I did not know that... but it explains a hell of a lot

I cannot count the amount of times I've listened to On Your Own in the morning and found myself fighting the urge to break out singing it as I walk to/from university later in the day.

It sinks even lower on the next track.

So It Goes

I have a bad habit of singing along to the music I'm listening to... no matter where I am.

Other people don't seem to appreciate it too much

The lyrics are down right depressing.

But he's got a great band to lift it up. Sadness turns to rage. Wait until "NoKnock OnMyDoor."

It's a stormer.

I initially didn't like So It Goes, but almost every time I played On Your Own, I'd forget to skip straight to A Northern Soul, so it's kind of grown on me now after repeated listens.
