Can anyone out there recommend a good Jefferson Airplane album? I've got Volunteers but my favourite track on it is the live version of Somebody to Love. Can anyone recommend a JA album or any band that sounds like them? I've been listening a lot to a compilation out a couple of months ago called Meridian 1970 which has loads of stuff along these lines from that era so want to branch out into that style of music. I've already gotten albums by The Band, CSNY, Buffalo Springfield and Neil Young but want to broaden out. Any suggestions?

if you like the Band and CSN&Y you could try, like... The Grateful Dead, Jackson Browne, The Eagles, Bob Dylan (if you like him)... and for JA get Surrealistic Pillow. No question.

Thanks a million folks. Am off to buy surrealistic pillow now! Grateful Dead has been in my mind for a while alright, but I'm already a big Dylan fan. Highway 61 Revisited = the greatest album .... ever!
