A Computer Question

Why are some file names on my computer appear in a blue colour rather than the usual black?

are they protected system files?

I've seen this as well using XP.

I don't think so..... I've seen this with some of my mp3s and text files too.

Blue files are compressed, green files are encrypted.

Right-click>Properties>Advanced>Compress or Encrypt attributes.
