I don't know why you're embarrassed by Wonderwall, that's one of the greatest songs ever. I'd be embarrassed if I didn't like it.

I have alot too.
I'm afraid I like many songs with Westlife. They are easy to sing along to and somehow puts me in a good mood. And I must say that I heard Not a girl, not yet a woman with a certain Ms Spears and I really liked it. I even remember thinking how surpriced I was I liked it.

I think it's b/c I've never really liked any of Oasis's other stuff. And I had a HUGE obsession with this song at one point, really. And where I'm from, no one even listens to rock, nonetheless, OLD rock.

5. Smooth Criminal - Alien Ant Farm (yes, I know it was originally Michael Jackson.)
4. Chop Suey - System of a Down
3. Pretty much anything by Jewel
2. Hey Baby - No Doubt
1. It's not so much that I like it as that it's been burned into my mind for eternity, and I can recall all the words to it on command, but you have to get me pretty intoxicated wo hear me sing it: The commercial jingle for the 5" A-Team action figures

------------------

Truth is offensive.
I'm morally opposed to rape, and I would never rape anyone, but I think, ultimately, it's up to the rapist and no one else.

5 songs me wouldve but notve h'embarrasio to h'expressio:

BSB - More Than That (for now, they always change)
Kate Winslet - What If
Madonna - (that very long remix (video) of) What It Feels Like

wait, Im not embarrassed about any song.....well actually, only BUYING their singles

In crowded shops its hard to buy Enrique or Take That without feelin everyone is questionin u in ur mind over why u like such 'crap'........accordin to them...

It took me 1 hour to pick up a Take That single years ago......FACT!

and I even apologised for buying it....

Hey, ABBA is good! I am a big fan of ABBA.

Anyway, onto the original topic, I don't really like many pop songs, period, but one I have to admit I like is that Jennifer Lopez song, the DJ one. Anyone else remember that? I liked the video quite a bit (I am a sucker for spacy videos.. sigh) and the song wasn't too bad. Oh well. My confession is over.

"You must not look down on someone just 'cos they are 14 years old. When I was that age I listened to the music of John Lennon and it changed my way of seeing things, so I'm just glad that 14 year olds are coming to see U2 rather than group X." - Bono, 1988

Here's a few more...

*Anything by Huey Lewis and the News
*the new Kylie Minogue song
*Waiting for Tonight--J. Lo
*Anything by Bad Company

Do you mean the actress? When did she do a song? Was it in a movie she did?

You ain't nothin without a rhythm section.

"Who's to say what it is will break you."

"What Adam does with his willy is his business..." -Bono

Yes Yellowkite - Chrimbo *tackles Bono-Vox into the corner, blows a raspberry on her belly* movie............A Christmas Carol (the 2001 film)

she sings really really well on it, but lots of critics said she was shite, should put a sock in it and stick to acting....

BULLSHIT!!!

Im a fan of Kate Winslet and if u stab her ass again I will cut ur manhoods off......ya hear me?

Peter Licht: Sonnendeck

I'm gonna add the new Kylie Minogue song to my list. That video came on this morning and I was late for work just so I could sit and watch it.

OMG, me too! *runs*

Okay, what else??? Uh, Christina Aguilera's "What A Girl Wants". Dang, what is up with me?!
biggrin.gif

Sailing - Christopher Cross - lots of childhood memeories in that one - still make me feel all gooey and sentimental.

Theme from Ice Castles - THE defining love theme of the late 70's.

Never Gonna Give You Up - Rick Astley - makes me wanna dance.
biggrin.gif

Sing - The Carpenters - makes me sing <groan>

and songs by Barry Manilow, John Denver [especially Grandma's Featherbed} and Neil Diamond.

Now leave me alone - I am going back to wallow in my 70's childhood, but had you asked me I would have said I was an 80's kid.

Speaking of which - Jessie's Girl - Rick Springfield. [and others like Don't Talk to Strangers and Affair of the Heart]

Looking back, that list makes me sound really sad.

Well, I don't personally think anyone who mentioned an 80's tune really confessed much of anything because 80's music rawks! lol
biggrin.gif

But my list of embarrassing modern tunes...

Kylie Minogue - "Can't Get You Outta My Head"
N'SYNC - "Gone"
N'SYNC - "Girlfriend"
Pink - "That new one of hers about hating herself..." Don't know the name
BSB - "Show Me The Meaning of Being Lonely"

*Waits in corner for jonbonojovi_boy to flame me :O Boyzone lover!!!
