Since this is not a tech help question and more of a general open ended fun one, that is why I posted it here in LS.

1. YouTube  enuff said.

2. Google Maps / Earth The quick zoom-in and panning capability with the mouse puts it way beyond Mapquest!

3. File sharing sites like media fire, save file etc… and also P2P ones like Kazaa, Limewire etc. although many of those don’t exist anymore and one could get into trouble using them :shifty:

4. Wayback Machine http://www.archive.org/index.php Internet + Nostalgia  enuff said.

5. Last but not least… our beloved… Interference.com :cute: Despite crazy fights, arguments and drama from time to time, I still  U, interf.

Okay, your turn! :dancing:

1. Interference - what else can you say??

2. u2start - the type of website that only exists in your wildest dreams

3. myspace - go tom.

There's a trip down memory lane... anyone remember Morpheus?

I still find the cat Macros to be incredibly funny:

but that’s probably just me :reject:

Wow I've never seen that site before. Looks cool, with lots of bootlegs! How is the forum there?

Oh yeah  What about Gnutella? Grokster?

And sites like excite, lycos, angelcity... do they even exist anymore?

Internet nostalgia  :shifty:

Netscape Navigator! It's been officially retired as a browser, from what I've read.

Most of my favourite sites are probably less than awesome for people here. Canadian news...wooo!

This is great however: http://concerts.wolfgangsvault.com/home.aspx You can sign-up for free and stream some really great concerts of the past...including a couple of early 80's shows from U2.

OMG U2start is amazing! I've never seen that site before!

1. HOTEL: This is an old flash animation site, but one of the creepiest things I've ever seen. It's interactive and has several different installments. There's a link to start the thing at the bottom of this intro page:

2. Always be prepared:

3. For LOST fans:

4. Polish movie posters. Usually much cooler than the ones we get in the U.S. or the rest of Europe:

5. Public domain movies. Lots of stuff here free to stream or download:
